Highlights from Uganda’s 14th Rotary Cancer Run
On August 31st, thousands of Ugandans laced up their sneakers and gathered at Kaunda Grounds and across the country for the 14th edition of the Rotary Cancer Run. Under the powerful theme “Many Cancers, One Race,” this year’s event united communities in a shared mission: to raise funds for the completion of two radiotherapy bunkers at the Rotary Cancer Centre, Nsambya Hospital.
The run was more than just a race—it was a movement of compassion, resilience, and purpose. From seasoned athletes to families walking hand-in-hand, every step taken was a stride toward better cancer care in Uganda.
